Tackle class 2 - 3+ rapids on the Vilcanota "Urubamba" river and Cusco's canyons to the south. Some rafting or canoeing experience required.
Some paddling is required. Some downhill hiking is required.

This stretch of the Urubamba river is not often rafted.
Cusco - Southward
We take a car from Cusco 45 mins to our starting point near the town of Urcos on the Vilcanota "Urubamba" river, inflate our rafts and begin our 4 hr whitewater adventure.

Urcos - Andahuaylillas
The river starts off calm with plenty of time to adjust your raft and seat then after passing through Andahuaylillas the canyon narrows and it begins to get wild with some class 3 rapids.

Riverside Lunch
After a few sets of rapids we'll pull over for lunch in the serene setting of Quispicanchis canyon.

Cai Cai - Cusco
After a few more class 2 rapids the river begins to widen out and steadily brings us into Cai Cai where we take out and catch our car for Cusco.
