In 2 days we can accomplish a lot, and we can learn more of the Nazca culture. We'll fly over the lines, see the famous cemetery, visit the capital and explore their ways of transporting and storing water. We'll see the Nazca Lines, Chauchilla cementary, Cahuachi, Paredones, a ceramic workshop and metal workshop.
This trip is by plane and tour bus with very little walking. Bus transfers from the terminal or your hotel are included.

Day 1 Nazca Lines - Chauchilla cemetery
We will begin either with a flight over the Nazca lines or with Chauchilla. After flying over the Nazca Lines (30 min) we'll head to the Chauchilla cemetery approximately 28 km southeast of the city. There we will observe the well-preserved Nazca mummys with their long braids of hair and colorful pottery from many years ago. After visiting the Chauchilla cemetery we will return to Nazca to visit the pottery workshop where we will receive information about the development, evolution of Nazca polychrome pottery. Later we will visit a place where informal miners work, here we give you information on how gold is extracted from rocks and the techniques used for this process. We will take you back to your hotel.

Day 2 Cahuachi - Paredones - Aqueducts
We'll pick you up from your hostal in our private transportation and head to Cahuachi 28 km east of Nazca on the way we will appreciate the landscapes that ranches from sand dunes, dry gorges, towering cliffs, a mountain that starts abruptly at sea level and the high gradient watersheds in Cahuachi. Then we will explore the biggest city in the world made of mud containing 32 pyramids in a 24 km tour for approximately 3hr. Then we'll return to Nazca to have lunch. Next we continue to Paredones and the aqueducts located a few km outside of Nazca. Paredones was the most important administrative center of the ancient city of Nazca and is the only construction made of stone. Lastly, we explore the acueducts where we'll learn how the Nazcas could manage water using hydraulic engineering which improved agriculture and made life in the Nazca desert possible. We'll return to your hotel.
