Enjoy a challenging 1 1/2 hr hike up to Ausangate's Vinicunca "Rainbow Mountain" and witness this awesome phenomenon at 5000m/16404ft!
This trip is a full day tour by bus and 1 1/2 hrs trek to the lookout point.
Includes breakfast and buffet lunch. No upgrades are available.

This is a pooled tour of Rainbow Mountain with a group no larger than 33 people.
Rainbow Mountain is now very touristic.
Cusco - Vinicunca - Cusco
We will pick you up at 3 am and drive 3 hrs stopping in Japura for a sit down breakfast until we reach Quesoyuni (4,300m/14,107ft) where we will start our trek. We will hike for about 1.5 hrs until we reach the mirador of Vinicunca (5,100m/16,732f). We will spend 30-45 mins or so at the mirador where our guide will explain this geological phenomenon. After we take photos we will again return walking down the mountain visiting with the locals surrounded by herds of Alpacas and beautiful mountainous surroundings of the Ausangate area.
