What an exciting experience rafting on the Chili! Just 20 minutes from the main square of Arequipa, the Chili River is a small river with a fun flow with rapids varying between classes II, III and IV.
This is an adventurous rafting experience with narrow channels and drops.
Bus transportation, rafting equipment and guide provided.
Some paddling and group interaction is required.
This is either pooled or a private and on demand tour.
This rafting trip is not widely known.
Arequipa - Chili River - Arequipa
We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to take you to to the sector of the grotto of the Virgin of Chapi in Charcani where we will be given instructions on the proper use of equipment. Then we will start our rafting trip for around 2 1/2 hours enjoying the landscape, rumbling water and narrow passages which resemble something out of a waterpark. The slope of the river is a stretch of 8 km. Boats have a capacity of 6 people + 1 instructor/guide. At the end of the rafting trip the car will be waiting for us to go back to your hotel in Arequipa. Have fun!
